Our little miracle, Caleb Blake Haines, arrived on January 10, 2008 at 8:26 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds 1 ounces and measured 21 1/4 inches. He is so beautiful and perfect. So, let's talk about pregnancy weight. I gained a total of 56 pounds in my pregnancy. However, today I stepped on the scale to see that I have lost 23 of it, so I now have 33 to go! I was so pleasantly surprised.
2 days postpartum: lost 14 lbs
4 days postpartum: lost 8 lbs more, total of 22 lbs
5 days postpartum: lost 1 lb more, total of 23 lbs
My belly gets smaller daily. I still look pregnant and I keep waiting for someone to mistakenly say, "When's the baby due?" I will feel bad for that person, because I will be like, "Um... I just had him last week," and then they will feel silly. :)
