Here we go! 21 Weeks Postpartum

Okay, so it's been interesting. I have LOVED being a mom. It has been the most amazing and rewarding experience. However, with mommy stresses, a wild baby who always wants to be held and doesnt want to sleep, and my brother leaving on a mission, I have had some setbacks. My emotions have not quite been in my favor and I have experienced sympoms of Anxiety Disorder. It has been so hard, with being fatigued, weak, and nautious. So, I have taken a break from exercise. With that being said, I am still only 7 lbs. above my prepreg. weight! I am starting working out again today. I will report again next week. Thanks for everyone's support!!! We can do it!

Ooops

I have been slacking on my blogging. I am now 8 lbs. over my prepreg. weight. We just got back from a trip to Ohio where we went to Cedar Point, the Rollercoaster Capital! It was amazing. So, today I restart my weightloss. :) It amazes me, though, how fast I have been able to get close to my regular weight. I am so EXTREMELY grateful!!! I will be back with an update this Thursday when I am 19 weeks postpartum.

Diet: I have actually changed my diet plan. Before, I was eating what I wanted while eliminating fried foods and sweets. Now, I still eliminate those two but I keep to a low-fat, low salt food plan. I think it's really helping me lose the weight. My daily diet is something like this:

Breakfast: 1 packet of oatmeal with maple and brown sugar, a ham/cheese omlet made with Egg Beaters, and a banana
AM Snack: Light Yoplait
Lunch: 2 whole weat tortillas with ham, lettuce, and light mayo, and a boiled egg
PM Snack: Pretzels
Dinner: Chicken breast with low fat sour cream and salsa, brown rice, and broccoli
Night Snack: Grapes

I cannot go without mentioning how much Heavenly Father has helped me, as well. Today I fit into my white shorts that I bought at the very beginning of my pregnancy. I bought them a little loose for comfort, but today I fit back into them! I have been praying so much for help and I know that God cares for me. I am so grateful to Him.
